With our continued commitment to bridge the digital divide in education, we arranged the donation of 16 MacBooks and 5 Chromebooks to Central Foundation Girls' School in collaboration with Monzo Bank. This forms part of our Project Spark, which aims to support student learning and address the challenges posed by underfunding in schools.

Like so many schools across the UK, Central Foundation Girls' School, located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets faces financial constraints that can limit access to essential learning resources. The recent donation of Chromebooks and MacBooks is set to enhance the digital learning environment, providing students with the tools necessary for modern education.
Our Project Spark initiative focuses on supporting underfunded schools and students by facilitating access to technology. By partnering with organisations such as Monzo Bank, we ensure that surplus devices are redirected to educational institutions in need. This collaboration not only promotes sustainability by extending the useful life of devices but also empowers students with the necessary tools to succeed in a digital world.
Partnering for success
Monzo Bank, a leading UK online bank, has been proactively supporting local communities. Through our partnership, Monzo has donated surplus laptops to various schools, recognizing the importance of technology in education. This initiative reflects Monzo's commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to making a positive impact on society.
The donation to Central Foundation Girls' School is part of a broader effort to support educational institutions with high concentrations of economic disadvantage. By providing students with access to modern technology, these initiatives aim to level the playing field, ensuring that all students, regardless of their socio-economic background, have the opportunity to succeed.
In addition to the recent donation to Central Foundation Girls' School, we have worked with Monzo Bank to support other local schools. You can read about our collaboration here.
Building for the future
The impact of these donations extends beyond the immediate provision of hardware. Access to devices enables students to engage with a variety of educational resources, participate in interactive learning activities, and develop digital literacy skills essential for future academic and professional success. Moreover, teachers can integrate technology into their lesson plans more effectively, fostering an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the importance of technology in education becomes increasingly evident. Project Spark is crucial in ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed. By addressing the issue of underfunding and providing essential technological tools, these organisations are making a lasting impact on the lives of students and the broader community.
Through our collaborative efforts, we can work towards a future where every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their socio-economic background.
